PAYMENT INFORMATION
CLASS FEE:
Full class fee is $80.00 per person. There are no hidden fees.
We provide everything you need for the CPL Class, which includes the
handguns (Ruger Mark 3 Target Pistols - 22 caliber), ammunition,
safety equipment, NRA 200 Page Book and coffee and cookies all day.
HOW CAN I PAY MY $80.00 FULL CLASS FEE WHEN I
ARRIVE TO CLASS?:
We accept checks, money orders
and cash at the class location. If you pay in cash and request a
receipt, a receipt will be provided to you.
We
do not accept credit cards, as to keep our costs down.
We will take your word that if you register for one of our Lansing CPL
Classes you will attend.... and if you can't... you will call us by
10am (Friday) the day before the CPL Class (held on Saturday) and let
us know that you cannot make the Class. This allows us time to fit
someone else in your spot. (Of
course, call us as soon as you know you cannot make the class... don't
just wait until 10am on Friday if you know beforehand.)
J
We certainly do value you as an attendee! All we ask is:
A)
There
are only 35 spots in each Lansing CPL Class. Even after 35 attendees
are scheduled, we may have a waiting list of people waiting to get
into each class. It is important that all 35 spots be filled.
We only charge $80.00 and we have expenses to
cover.
This allows us to continue to provide our CPL
classes for only $80.00... affordable to the citizens of Michigan!
Help us by showing up to class or calling us to let us know you cannot
attend. Thank you!
B)
If you need to cancel and it is after 10am on Friday…PLEASE CALL, even
if it is early Saturday morning before class time. Our phones are
manned at 5:30am every class morning. We have people who may be on
stand-by Saturday mornings waiting for a call to attend that day's
class, should anyone cancel at the last minute.
C)
PLEASE NOTE:
If you cannot attend the class you registered for and call after
10am (Friday) the day before class day (on Saturday), then we will
allow you to register in another one of our CPL Classes. If you
register for one of our CPL Classes in Lansing and you do not call
at all to cancel prior to class time and do not attend the class
you registered for, we will not accept you in another one of our
classes.
For the Group Rate Rules and Discount we offer, read that section at
the end of this page. Thank you!
DIRECTIONS TO CLASS LOCATION AND
CLASS ATTENDANCE TIME
WHAT TIME DO I NEED TO ARRIVE TO THE CLASS?:
Arrive
at 8:00am at the
class location.
HOW DO I GET TO THE CLASS LOCATION?:
For a map to the Capital Region International Airport Range (this is
not the Lansing Police Department Range... it is a separate range
located inside the airport perimeter) in Lansing
You can move the slide bar on the left side of the map to zoom in or
zoom out, to get the directions you need depending on where you are
coming from.
The
address of 2300 West State Road, zip 40906 on the map, is the location
of the gate (Gate 10), where you enter the airport facility.
HOW DO I ENTER THE AIRPORT RANGE?:
To enter the facility you must use Gate #10 at DeWitt and State Roads.
The Range is a secure facility and class members need to all enter at
the same time.
The
address of 2300 West State Road, zip 40906 on the map is the location
of the gate (Gate 10), where you enter the airport facility. There
is not a building there.
Merely park outside Gate 10 and at 8:00am
someone will come out, open the gate so you can drive to the classroom
/ range and escort you into the Range Facility. There is a closed
circuit tv monitor that watches the gate. The instructors know you are
parked there and will open the gate at 8:00am.
As well, here are pictures and directions when you get to DeWitt and
State Roads in Lansing:
If you are coming from westbound State Road… first you will come to
the Stop Sign of State and DeWitt (Picture 1). Across the intersection
you will see a “No Outlet Sign” (Picture 2) and beyond that is Gate 10
(Picture 3).
If you are heading north or south on DeWitt Road (MLK Boulevard) in
Lansing, turn into the “No Outlet” portion or State Road (Picture 2)
which will either be left or right if you are coming north or south.
If you are coming North, it will be a left turn… if you are coming
South, it will be a right turn.

Everything

200 page NRA book we give to you, but it is not a lot of space.
Taking notes is not required.
The Range at the Airport is right next to the classroom and is covered
in case it is raining or snowing. In addition, in the wintertime it is
equipped with overhead heaters. You will not be outside long, since

CAN I
TAPE RECORD OR VIDEO TAPE THE CLASS?
We
do not allow the recording (audio or visual) of our CPL Classes. We
have
many attendees
in our CPL Classes that do not like or want the recording of
our classes. They do not want their questions (many legal and
personal) and the answers to those questions recorded, nor do they
want to be visually taped. Therefore, we do not allow the recording
(audio or visual) of any content of our CPL Classes. Additionally,
much of the content of our classes (audio and visual) is the work
product produced by our instructors. This is personal property of our
Company and cannot be reproduced or used in any fashion or anywhere
without the express written permission of Robert Sipple, Instructor,
EAG, Inc., dba michiganccwclass.com.

We provide cookies and coffee all day. There is a 1 to 1 ˝ hour lunch
break where attendees can leave and eat at a local restaurant or a
fast food establishment. (There are lots close by). You may also bring

reasons) or if you just want to. There is a 10 minute break every hour
as well.
WHEN DO I GET MY CERTIFICATE OF CLASS COMPLETION?:
You will receive a 200 page NRA book when you arrive to class and a

1 day.
Michigan CPL / CCW (NRA’s - Personal Protection in the Home) course is

large classes. This course complies with requirements of: PA 372 of
1927 Sec. 5J2(b) as amended by PA 381 of 2000 and PA 719 of 2002, Sec.
5J. It covers firearm safety, defensive shooting, firearms and the
law, use of deadly force strategies for home safety, and responding to
a violent confrontation. It includes a minimum one hour from a
qualified attorney or law enforcement officer on the legal aspects of
CCW and required shooting range time with several hours being spent
outdoors. You will receive a 200 page NRA book and you must pass a
firearm's proficiency test prior to receiving a certificate of
completion that is needed in order to apply for a Michigan Concealed

GROUP RATE DISCOUNT WE OFFER
WHAT ABOUT THE
GROUP RATE DISCOUNT YOU OFFER:
If
YOU organize a group of 6 to 9 (yourself +5 to 9 other attendees)
and they pay and attend the same CPL Class on the same day as you
attend, then YOU
can attend the class
for $40.00.
If
YOU organize a group of 11 or more (yourself + 10 or more other
attendees) and they pay and attend the same CPL Class on the same day
as you attend,
then YOU can attend
for FREE.
1.
As a Group Leader, please stand at the back of the line in class when
others are paying their Class Fees, so the Instructor can see how many
of your scheduled attendees have shown up for the class. Then your
Class Fee (if any) can be determined.
Thank you!
2. If you
want any other individuals, other than you to receive separate
attendance emails, please provide their email addresses. If you do not
provide their email addresses to us, it is your responsibility to send
them a copy of the email we send to you.... to them. You must provide
them with the information about our CPL Classes. You MUST
provide us with phone numbers to every person you register in your
group. If we cannot reach you, we cannot confirm their spots before
class day.
.
3.
Please note: If you have other people who are attending
the class with you, or who you have referred under your name, and you
do not let us know you have organized a group prior to class time,
then you will not receive your Group Discount.
This is
because the Class Roster is already completed at class time, and the
instructors do not have the time to figure out who is in what group.
This will hold up class time and make the class run over 8 hours.
Group information is already itemized on the Class Roster when you
check in at class time.
CONFIRMING YOUR SPOT
Important:
Since we no longer require a Class Fee Deposit and many of you
register weeks or months before one of our CPL Classes, the way to
secure your spot is to respond to the “reminder call” we make to you
2-3 days prior to the CPL Class day you registered for. We make this
“reminder call” because many of our attendees forget they have
registered or something has come up. Most of the time we have a
waiting list for each class of approximately 20+ people trying to
get into a class. This is our way of confirming your spot in
the class. Remember:
1) Make sure we can contact you (by phone) and the phone number you
registered with has not since been disconnected, or your phone mail
box full, or “is unavailable”, etc. when we make our “reminder call”
to you to confirm your spot in the CPL Class you registered for.
2) When we call and you are not able to answer your phone, and we
are able to leave a message on your phone, please be sure and call
us back at 989.224.3210 or email us at
staff@michiganccwclass@aol.com
letting us know you are still able to attend 2-3 days before your
class and let us know you are still attending. We will email you
back confirming your spot.
If we are not able to leave a message on your phone, we will email
you a "reminder email". Please respond to the email to confirm your
spot.
3) PLEASE, if you are registering other people, you must
provide us with a phone number for each attendee. If we cannot reach
you, we cannot confirm the attendance of the other people either.
