CPL / CCW CLASSES
WE TEACH IN LANSING, MICHIGAN
Lansing, Michigan: We teach
CPL / CCW Classes in Lansing, Michigan near the Capital Regional
Airport. When
you register for one of our classes, we will e-mail you a confirmation
with directions to our class site. The cost of our
classes are
$80.00*. The dates we have scheduled for our classes in the year 2010 are:
August 14th, August 28th,
September 11th, September 25th, October 2nd,
October 16th, November 6th, November 27th and December
11th. (more classes
to be added soon).
If you want to organize a class,
or schedule friends and relatives to attend one of our local classes, and you
have at least 12 people to attend, you can attend the class for
FREE (and you can be
the 12th
person, so you only need 11 more).

Our instructors and staff
believe that the citizens of the state of Michigan have a right to
keep and
bear arms under both the
Michigan and the United States Constitution.
Our classes are of
high quality and have the best instructors.
Unlike classes held
with other instructors, everything needed for this class is
provided by us; handguns (Ruger Mark 3 - 22 caliber target pistols),
ammunition and safety equipment.
After
all, we want to make sure that
no one is a victim
and that all
qualified individuals are allowed the chance to obtain their CPL / CCW License.

are the steps to take to enroll in one of our CPL / CCW
Classes, what you can expect in our class as well
as a map directing you to the class

1)
HOW TO REGISTER:
Call EAG, Inc. at 989-224-3210 or email us at
staff@michiganccwclass.com and let
us know you want to attend one
of our classes. Tell us the date of the class you wish to
attend. If you email
us, please include your name and
the number of individuals that will be attending with you,
if any, along with
your address and your phone
number.
If you
want to organize a class, or schedule friends and
relatives to attend one of our local classes,
and you have at least 12
people to attend, you can attend the class for FREE
(and you can be the 12th
person, so you only need 11
more).
2) HOW YOU WILL KNOW YOU ARE SCHEDULED FOR THE
CLASS YOU HAVE CHOSEN:
If you call
us,
we will take your information over the phone, tell you
immediately that you are scheduled for the class you
have
chosen and as well send you an email telling you that you
are scheduled for your chosen class date. If
you
email us, we will reply with an email telling you that you
are scheduled for the class date you have
chosen.
3) CLASS DEPOSIT FEE:
The cost
of this class is $80.00 per person. Mail a class fee deposit of
$25.00 to
EAG, Inc. at 704 Greengate Circle, Saint Johns,
MI 48879.
We accept checks and money orders
for the
class deposit fee. Please do not send cash
through the mail.
We do not take credit cards for the CPL /
CCW
Classes held
at this location, so as to hold our costs
down.
But, PLEASE, to help us process
your payment, write the date of the CPL class you are
attending on your payment, or on a
note you send along with your payment, so we can easily
find your name and send you a receipt.

4) WHAT HAPPENS TO MY DEPOSIT IF I CAN'T MAKE
THE CPL / CCW CLASS?: If you pay the $25.00
class fee deposit and find
you can't make the class but still want to attend one of
our classes, notify us within
24 hours before the class
date, and we will transfer your $25.00 deposit to another
class date. If you decide
you no longer want to
attend one of our classes, notify us within 4 days (96
hours) of the class date and we
will refund your $25.00
class fee deposit. This gives us time to allow another
person to attend the class. If
you are paying the full
class fee of $80.00 up front instead of just the $25.00
deposit, the same rules apply.
5) WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE
TIME BEFORE THE CLASS DATE TO MAIL MY CLASS DEPOSIT FEE?: If
you are registering just before class time and you are told to bring your
full class fee
with you, and you
cannot attend,
PLEASE, let us know as soon as possible, so
that we can plan on supplies and allow other
individuals to attend the class. Thank you!

PAYMENT CONFIRMATION: We will email you back letting you know we received
your class fee deposit
or full class fee and that you are confirmed to
attend the class you
have chosen.
7) WHAT TIME DO I NEED TO ARRIVE TO THE
CLASS?: Arrive at 8:00am.
8) HOW DO I GET TO THE CLASS LOCATION?:

You can move the slide bar on the left side of the map to
zoom in
or
zoom out, to get the directions you need
depending on where you are coming from.
9)
HOW DO I ENTER THE CLASS LOCATION?:
To
enter the class location you must use Gate #10 at
DeWitt and State Roads. The class location is a
secure facility and class members need to all enter at the
same
time. The address of 2300 West State Road on the
map, is the location of the gate, there is not a
building
there. Merely park outside Gate 10, someone will escort you into
the class location. There is a
closed circuit tv monitor
that watches the gate. We will know you are there
and come out and let you in.
As well, here are pictures and
directions when you get to DeWitt and State Roads in Lansing:
If you are
coming from westbound State Road… first you will come to the Stop
Sign of State and DeWitt (Picture 1).
Across the
intersection you will see a “No Outlet Sign” (Picture 2) and
beyond that is Gate 10 (Picture 3).
If you are heading
north or south on DeWitt Road (MLK Boulevard) in Lansing, turn
into the “No Outlet” portion or
State Road (Picture 2) which
will either be left or right if you are coming north or south.
If you are coming North, it
will be a left turn…
if you are coming South, it will be a right turn.

Remember:
There is a closed circuit tv monitor that watches the gate. We
will know you are there and come
out and let you in.
If you have trouble with
directions prior to the day of class, call EAG, Inc at
989-224-3210. If you have trouble with directions on the way
to class on class day, call Instructor
Robert Sipple at
517-927-3222 for help with directions.
(only call Robert Sipple's number if lost on
the way to class or if you arrive to
the class site after 8:00am and everyone else is inside the
facility and the gate is closed... someone will come out
and let you in). All other
calls should be
made to EAG, Inc. at 989.224.3210.
10 ) WHAT
DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME TO CLASS?: Everything needed for this class is provided
by
us. The only thing you need to bring is clothing
appropriate for the weather outdoors and the $55.00 class
fee balance (if you previously paid your $25.00 class fee deposit) /
$80.00 full class fee (if you were told to
bring your full
class fee with you when you attend the class) for each
person attending.
The shooting of handguns is
required in this class. We will provide the
handguns (Ruger Mark 3 Target
Pistols 22 caliber), ammunition and
safety equipment.
If you prefer to shoot your own weapon, you will
need pproximately 50 rounds of ammunition.
If you bring your own firearm,
PLEASE, for safety
reasons, do not bring your firearm into
the
classroom. Leave it in your vehicle until it is your
time to shoot.
11) HOW
CAN I PAY THE BALANCE OF MY CLASS FEE DEPOSIT OR FULL
CLASS FEE WHEN I
ARRIVE TO CLASS?: We accept checks, money orders and cash
at the class location. If
you pay in
cash
and
request a receipt for class fee payment or class fee
balance, a receipt will be provided to you.
12 ) I'M
IN CLASS ALL DAY - WHAT ABOUT FOOD? We
provide doughnuts or cookies and coffee in the
morning. There is a 1 to 1 ˝ hour lunch break
where participants can leave and eat at a local restaurant
or
fast food establishment. (There are lots close by)
You may also bring a bag lunch.
13) HOW LONG IS THE CLASS?: The class
is an eight (8) hour course that occasionally will run
slightly over
with large classes. It starts at 8:00am and ends between
5:00pm and 6:00pm.
14) WHEN DO I GET MY CERTIFICATE OF CLASS
COMPLETION?: You will receive a 200 page NRA
book when you arrive to class and a Certificate of
Completion that is needed in order to apply for a
Michigan Concealed Pistol License when you leave on the
day of the class.
Michigan CPL / CCW
(NRA’s - Personal Protection in the Home) course is an eight (8)
hour course that occasionally will run slightly over with large
classes. This course complies with requirements of: PA 372 of 1927
Sec. 5J2(b) as amended by PA 381 of 2000 and PA 719 of 2002, Sec.
5J. It covers firearm safety, defensive shooting, firearms and the
law, use of deadly force strategies for home safety, and responding
to a violent confrontation. It includes a minimum one hour from a
qualified attorney or law enforcement officer on the legal aspects
of CCW and required shooting range time with several hours being
spent outdoors. You will receive a 200 page NRA book
and
you must pass a firearm's proficiency test prior to receiving a
certificate of completion that is needed in order to apply for a
Michigan Concealed Pistol License.
